Top tip: if you're planning on getting married at a super popular wedding venue but find that they're fully booked out on the weekend, maybe you could consider getting married on a weekday. It's not the most convenient, but it might help you book in your dream venue.

While we're talking about dream venues, if you haven't attended a Toowomba wedding at Gabbinbar Homestead, you're missing out. Widely considered one of Brisbane's best wedding venues (I guess technically, it's one of the best places to have a wedding in Toowoomba), it's an incredibly beautiful place to get married. There's a few spots you can choose for your ceremony in the perfectly maintained gardens, and you'll enjoy some pretty delicious wedding food for your reception. You just have to be willing to drive out a couple of hours, but it's worth it.

Anyway, onto Vi and Paul's day. These two stunners got married underneath one of the huge fig trees in a Korean ceremony officiated by Paul's church pastor. The sun was coming in and out of the clouds, and seemingly illuminated Vi and Paul in a heavenly aura. Afterwards we walked around the grounds, where Paul surprised Vi with a serenade; a slow acoustic rendition of "I'm Gonna Be" by the Proclaimers. A few romantic photos later, and the reception had begun - after which we snuck out for a few photos in the dark, illuminated by fairy lights strung up around the gardens.
