A gloomy, humid day wasn’t enough to dampen the mood for Amanda and Scott – although it probably dampened a few of our clothes with sweat, sorry for the gross image. Their wedding day started with some tradition: a tea ceremony for family preceded by a few door games set up by Amanda’s brother and sister-in-law. Scott got a tiny bit nervous before he faced the challenges, but thankfully they were tamer than usual!
The cloudy skies followed us to the wedding ceremony at Spicers Hidden Vale, but thankfully the view was still beautiful, and the greenery still green. Spicers Hidden Vale provided a few nice spots for photos, including their picturesque infinity pool overlooking the valley, and a grassy field with a few kangaroos to hang out with.
The night ended with an intimate little reception just outside the barn, with warm lighting, a blazing fire, and a seemingly endless supply of Bundaberg ginger beer.
