Paris, the city of love. The home of the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the world’s best pastries, and a smooth accent. A Paris wedding is something everybody dreams of. Paris is beautiful city, there’s no doubt about it. But there’s also the bad: the scams, the pickpockets, the endless smoking, and huge crowds. It’s easy to romanticise Paris – only to be disappointed that it’s not the perfect city you’ve always dreamed of.
Relationships are like this. You get the good with the bad. And you accept it, because that’s what it is. And you love it regardless.
“As I have given you my hand to hold, so I give you my life to keep.”
Paris isn’t the perfect city, but it’s still an amazing place to visit. Parina and Daniel aren’t the perfect couple, but they still choose to love each other.
We started the day bright and early (2:30am) with the super-talented Ava Belle and Laura Webb, and while the sun rose and the boys tried to tie a bow-tie, we moved on over to the Louvre for Parina and Dan’s first look. Laura (The Paris Officiant) joined us at the Palais de Chaillot and conducted a beautiful sunrise wedding (Tip: if you want to avoid the crowds, you have to get married early in the morning!) After a few photos, we celebrated with a Parisian breakfast of sandwiches, cheese and patisseries, and went back to sleep.
